Oskar Med K at the Commodore Ballroom

Oskar Sjåvåg, known professionally as oskar med k, is a Norwegian electronic producer who has skyrocketed into stardom within the last year. His breakthrough single, "Make Me Feel" has amassed over 192 million streams on Spotify as of April 2026. 35 million of those arriving in just the first eight weeks, ushering in a new wave of "emotional dance music". His monthly Spotify listeners climbed from 40,000 to over 10.9 million in a matter of months. So a jam-packed, sold-out show at the Commodore was no surprise.
Donning his signature sunglasses, he opened with "On the Ground" from his debut album feel, released just two weeks prior. A deep eochy, synth-laced house track with melodic hooks that brought the dance floor to life.
His sound sits at the intersection of pumping house, soulful vocals, and a melancholy that surfaces in the spaces between the beats. He's part of a small wave of young producers putting emotional weight back into a post-big room landscape. The crowd came ready for this vibe as they danced to every beat he dropped. Oskar moved through slower, more introspective cuts like "Flowers" off his debut album. Building upon the layers of his "Belong to No One" single. Transitioning to higher energy in "Say No Prayer", leaning on Izzy Bizu's vocals to get the room singing.

Then came the moment the crowd had been waiting for. The opening of "Make Me Feel" started softly, almost swallowed by the cheers that erupted. He let each layer build upon the next, using pauses to let the chords breathe and the anticipation build. When the stuttering synth lines finally hit, the whole room moved as one ecstatic dancing pod. It was a track that most of them had heard countless times, played live by someone most of them hadn't known existed a year ago.

Oskar had no mic while donning the DJ booth, letting the music do the talking throughout the night. When the last track ended, a simple "Thank You" was projected behind him as he left the stage. No encore. He didn't need one.
